Évoluer Aesthetics & Plastic surgery

  • Loose skin and stubborn fat are among the most common cosmetic concerns that lead men and women to pursue plastic surgery yearly. However, many patients are interested in a less invasive and more convenient alternative to surgery.
  • For these patients, Évoluer Aesthetics offers the revolutionary BodyTite system.
  • BodyTite is an innovative treatment system that resculpts areas of loose, wrinkled skin or stubborn fat through advanced radiofrequency energy.
  • Mostly it is combined with liposuction. In some cases, it can be used as a standalone procedure.

Where can BodyTite be used?

  • BodyTite, which can be highly beneficial for both men and women, is often used to make enhancements in the following areas:

  • Neck
  • Bra-line
  • Abdomen
  • Back
  • Flanks
  • Breast
  • Buttocks
  • Hips
  • Thighs
  • Knees
  • Arms
  • BodyTite can treat multiple during a single session for a complete transformation.

How it works ?

  • BodyTite is an innovative treatment system that resculpts loose, wrinkled skin or stubborn fat areas through advanced radiofrequency-assisted lipolysis (RFAL), suction energy, and other technologies.
  • BodyTite is a highly engineered electro‐surgical device with a computer-controlled Radio‐ Frequency (RF) generator.
  • It delivers precise heat energy to liquefy fat cells, tighten the skin, and promote the body’s natural production of collagen for firmer, more youthful-looking skin.
  • The BodyTite delivers the RF energy to the tissue through the bipolar RF handpiece.
  • The handpiece has two electrodes, internal and external. The inner electrode is inserted into the adipose, i.e., fatty tissue in the subcutaneous space. In contrast, the external electrode is applied to the skin surface above the tip of the internal electrode.
  • The RF current travels from the internal electrode‐cannula up to the external electrode and back, generating heat in the treatment zone. The RF-generated heat coagulates adipose tissue and causes collagen shrinkage and skin tightening.
  • Most of the internal electrode is coated with silicone along the length of the electrode to prevent heating at the incision port.
  • BodyTite provides unprecedented three-dimensional contraction of the dermis, subdermal connective tissue matrix, and subcutaneous fat. It offers superior body contouring and delivers results only previously achieved through more extensive surgical procedures.

Revolutionary features of the BodyTite device provide the following benefits:

  • Fast and uniform fat coagulation and liquefaction over large surface areas.
  • Minimal bleeding, bruising and pain from adipose and vascular tissue coagulation.
  • Maintaining skin temperature at a predetermined level for better tightening and skin contraction.

Who are ideal candidates for a BodyTite procedure?

  • Suitable candidates for BodyTite treatment are healthy patients with average body weight but need areas of fat removed that are impervious to diet or exercise.
  • Patients with BMI>36 (Weight Kg2/Height cm) or with excessively decreased skin tone and elasticity may have a marginal benefit from the BodyTite treatment.

Who cannot get it done?

People with:

  • Pacemakers or internal defibrillators.
  • Metal or silicone implants in the area of treatment.
  • Significant systemic illnesses and severe conditions such as cancer, heart disorders, metabolic syndrome, and coagulopathies.
  • History of thrombophlebitis.
  • Illness localized in the area of treatment, such as disorders of the lower abdomen (i.e., hernia, etc.).
  • Acute infection, systemic or localized.
  • Recent surgery, particularly in the treatment area.
  • Pregnancy and nursing.
  • Mental disorders such as Body Dysmorphic Disorder (BDD).

How to prepare yourself:

  • Conventional pre‐operative blood tests will be advised
  • Avoid body polishing before the procedure
  • Avoid steam/ sauna/ swimming before the procedure
  • Hair in the treatment region should be shaved – not waxed or chemically removed prior
  • Do not wear any jewelry in the treatment area
  • Inform us prior about any medications you are on
  • Inform us prior about any implants in the treatment area
  • If you are on anticoagulants, you might require to discontinue them for a few days before treatment after consultation with your physician.

During the first visit:

  • Our doctors will take a complete medical history and Perform a physical examination
  • A customized treatment plan is suggested based on the candidate’s expectations, and options available are discussed

  • It is a daycare procedure. You can discuss and plan the procedure at your comfort.
  • It requires general anesthesia or sedation. Local anesthesia for Small areas.
  • It is performed in our sterile operation theaters.
  • Our doctor will carefully plan the procedure and do the markings during in the standing position.
  • Generally, it is combined with liposuction as the results will improve once excess fat is aspirated.
  • Proposed treatment area is sterilized with sterilizing solution and clean draped.
  • A small 5mm incision port is made for passing the internal electrode. This incision will be in hidden regions as much as possible and generally heals without any scar.
  • A body title handpiece with internal and external electrodes is used to deliver radiofrequency.
  • The inner electrode is passed through the incision port, and the BodyTite handpiece is moved slowly, methodically, and systematically back and forth, tunneling through the subcutaneous adipose tissue.
  • Our doctors will decide the appropriate level of depth and energy to be delivered.
  • Generally, the procedure takes a couple of hours.

Post Treatment Instructions

  • A compression garment should be used immediately after treatment completion for up to 6 weeks
  • It is recommended to rest for at least 1‐2 days.
  • Draining fluids out of the incision ports may continue for 1‐3 days.
  • Oral analgesia will be given for pain relief
  • Prophylactic oral and topical antibiotics may be prescribed at the physician’s discretion.

What Results Can You Expect?

  • There are apparent immediate results of local fat reduction, contour change, subcutaneous firming, and soft tissue tightening that become even more apparent after 3‐4 weeks. However, final results are established after 12‐24 weeks, when mild tissue edema has been entirely resolved.

Risks & Side effects?

  • The BodyTite procedure carries considerably fewer potential complications
  • All these side effects will resolve in a few days. Rarely can there be mild skin burns and scarring
  • Pain and discomfort for 1‐2 days.
  • Oozing of fluid from access ports for 1‐3 days.
  • Ecchymosis for Hematoma or seroma for 7‐10 days or more.
  • Substantial edema for 2‐3 weeks or more.
  • Infection
  • Lack of sensation in some areas that may be gradually regained after 3‐4 weeks or occasionally longer.
  • Skin hardness with a rubbery texture may commence three weeks post-treatment in over-treated patients. It may be accompanied by nodules and irregularities and may last up to 3‐6 months before softening.

  • Suitable candidates for BodyTite treatment are healthy patients with normal body weight but need areas of fat removed which are impervious to diet or exercise.
  • The BodyTite procedure carries considerably fewer potential complications compared to traditional liposuction techniques. Patients may experience minor bruising and swelling after BodyTite, but these risks are minimal.
  • Like all treatments and procedures, there are some potential side effects associated with BodyTite. If BodyTite side effects do occur, however, they are typically mild and resolve quickly on their own. These may include Swelling, Bruising, Redness, Feeling of tightness
  • In the first 2 – 3 days after BodyTite, patients should expect mild pain, bruising, and swelling. The majority of patients feel comfortable returning to work within 1 – 2 weeks after their BodyTite treatment, though compressive garments will need to be worn around the clock for the first 1 – 2 weeks. Additional restrictions on physical activity may apply, depending on the extent of your treatment. Most patients notice visible improvements to their figure about one week after BodyTite, with the results continuing to develop over the following months as new collagen forms and the skin becomes tighter and firmer.
  • Some outcomes will be obvious immediately after your treatment. Final results will take longer to appear. Within 3 months, you’ll see results – once the majority of the swelling has decreased. For up to a year, there will be gradually enhanced collagen growth with continuous tightening and an increasing glow.

Over time, BodyTite causes 25-45% contraction of tissue along with tightening. So long as you maintain your weight within 5 to 10 pounds, the results of your BodyTite treatment will last for years to come

  • Unlike other nonsurgical body contouring treatments, which require up to 4 – 6 sessions or more, BodyTite can provide stunning, long-lasting results with a single procedure. To preserve your BodyTite results for as long as possible, it is important to maintain a stable weight after BodyTite.
