How does Morpheus 8 Treatment Work?
- Morpheus8 is a fractional RF device with programmable penetration depth and energy delivery. The applicator has coated needles that penetrate the dermis and subcutis and release fractional RF energy.
- Various pin sizes are available based on the site and the patient’s needs and requirements. The doctors can alter the pin depth and energy based on the patient’s treatment plan and needs. This liberty to customize the treatment for each patient allows us to provide maximum results.
- The Radio Frequency energy in Morpheus causes coagulation necrosis of the superficial fat – dissolves the fat and is slowly removed by the body system.

- The examination is done to assess the skin changes and if the skin & person’s health condition is suitable for the treatment
- A customised treatment plan is created based on the patient’s expectations and available options.
- Tests required: No blood tests are needed. Test doses for local injection will be done at our centre.
Treatment Duration:(recommended)
- Our experts will recommend the optimal number of sessions to be performed based on your objectives, but it is recommended to have at least 3 to 4 sessions spaced roughly 3 to 4 weeks apart to see the results. And the maximum effect is seen after six weeks of the last session.
Procedure
- It is an outpatient procedure. You can fix an appointment at your comfortable timings. Visit the clinic at a specified time, undergo the procedure, and return home in a couple of hours.

Post treatment Instructions:
- You can return to regular daily activity on the same day.
- Minimal swelling and redness are expected after the procedure, which will reduce in a few days. Ice packs can be used to reduce swelling.
- Follow up with lymphatic massage after 48 hours to reduce the swelling
- Sleep in an elevated position with 2-3 pillows for two days to reduce swelling
- Avoid strenuous exercise, bending, and heavy weight lifting for a week. These activities can increase swelling
- Avoid swimming/ steam/ sauna for a week.
- Apply antibiotic ointment to reduce the redness
- Patients should moisturise the treatment area and keep it hydrated
- Avoid direct sun exposure. It is also recommended that patients use good, broad-spectrum sunscreen every day.
- Patients may expect to see micro-scabs for a few days after treatment for up to 1 week, depending on the treatment parameters.
- Since patient downtime is minimal, makeup can be applied after two days.
- Avoid using Retinod/retinoic acid creams for a few weeks.
